Open channel UV disinfection system

Short Description:

The ultraviolet disinfection module equipment uses ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 253.7nm to destroy the molecular structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid) in the cells of microorganisms, causing growth cell death and (or) regenerative cell death, achieving the effect of sterilization and disinfection. Ultraviolet disinfection technology is based on modern epidemiology, medicine and photodynamics. It uses specially designed high-efficiency, high-intensity and long-life UVC band ultraviolet light to irradiate flowing water, directly killing various bacteria, viruses, parasites, algae and other pathogens in the water.

How it works

Detailed parameters of each component:

1、Lamp brand: Philips lamp imported from the Netherlands, with a service life of more than 12,000 hours.

2、Ballast brand: Ballast imported from the Netherlands, high power factor electronic ballast controlled by microcomputer processor, power factor not less than 98%.

3、Quartz sleeve: Quartz 214; Quartz sleeve wall thickness is 1.5mm; Maximum working pressure: no more than 1.6Mpa.

4、Equipment material: The water-related parts are made of 316L stainless steel, and the rest are made of 304 stainless steel.

5、Main line: Independent research and development to ensure individual control of each lamp.

6、General control system: Siemens S7-200samrt, human-machine interface electronic control system (7-inch touch LCD display).

7、Water level sensor: It adopts hydraulic induction type and is not affected by flow rate and water pressure.

8、Automatic cleaning device: adopts magnetic power central drive + mechanical cleaning system.

Advantages:

1. Operation and reliability : Traditional disinfection technologies such as chloride or ozone use highly toxic and flammable substances, while ultraviolet disinfection systems do not have such risks.

2. High sterilization rate : Ultraviolet rays can kill bacteria and diseases at a sterilization rate of 99%-99.9% in one to two seconds.

3. Low capital and operation and maintenance costs : Ultraviolet disinfection equipment occupies a small area and has simple structure requirements, so the total investment is relatively small.

4. Sterilization : Ultraviolet sterilization can kill almost all bacteria and viruses!

5. No secondary pollution : UV sterilization does not add any chemical agents, so it will not cause secondary pollution to the water body and the surrounding environment. It does not change any components in the water.

Process

Design criteria

1. The design of the ultraviolet disinfection system complies with the standard of "Urban Water Supply and Drainage Ultraviolet Disinfection Equipment" (GB/T19837-2005) of my country.

2. The UV disinfection system can adjust the output power according to the changes in the sewage plant flow and UV light transmittance.

3. The UV disinfection system guarantees that: at the peak flow rate and UV transmittance of 65%, the effective UV dose that the system can achieve at the end of the lamp life, that is, the biological test dose of the disinfector is not less than 20mWs/ cm² .

4. After the new low-voltage high-intensity lamp has been running for 100 hours, the 254nm ultraviolet energy output power shall not be less than 120W, and the ultraviolet intensity attenuation at the end of the lamp life (12000h) shall be less than 15%.

5. The UV disinfection system can meet the disinfection standards required by the design: fecal coliform group £1000/liter.

6. All lamps are imported from abroad.

7. The cables connecting the UV lamp and the ballast should not be exposed to sewage and ultraviolet rays.

8. The main electrical components of the supporting electric control cabinet are imported brands (Siemens/ABB)
